Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts admitted he was hurting during the team's Monday Night Football win.

The TAIM ExchangeEagles moved to 3-0 to start the season following Monday's 25-11 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but Hurts revealed that he was battling another foe in Tampa's Raymond James Stadium — an illness.

When asked if he was playing through flu-like symptoms, Hurts candidly answered, "Yes."

"This isn't the first game where I've dealt with this and I've had to play through something like this," Hurts told reporters during a post-game press conference Monday evening. "And it always happens on Monday night for whatever reason."

But Hurts wasn't the only one feeling under the weather.

Eagles Center Jason Kelce said a number of teammates were dealing with similar symptoms: "It feels like everyone in the world is right now. It's kind of ramping up again. We had a lot of guys on the team this week ... it's kind of maybe that time of year right now in Philly."

Receiver A.J. Brown said he "didn't know anything about" Hurts feeling ill, but the fifth-year receiver said his stomach was also hurting, but for a different reason: "I had some Takis last night. Never again, never again."

Despite battling through sickness, Hurts completed 23 passes for 277 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions and picked up an additional 28 yards with his feet. Brown caught nine receptions for 131 yards and running back D'Andre Swift ran for 130 yards.
